When it comes to acai, believe the hype!
If you've spent ANY amount of time on Instagram, you've no doubt seen a smoothie bowl in your feed. And #acai smoothie bowls seem to dominate IG posts.

I can't remember what motivated me to go to Honest Coffee Company in downtown Huntsville the first time, but once I got there and saw there were acai #smoothie bowls on the menu, you better believe I ordered one. And boy oh boy was it amazing.

Acai is considered a #superfood due to its high antioxidant properties. It has a unique flavor, slightly similar to a blueberry. The color is beautiful - a rich, dark purple which makes any dish as visually appealing as it is tasteful.
